Install and configure Office on an iPhone or iPad


Use Office mobile apps to work wherever you are. Just sign in with a free Microsoft Account or Office 365 Business or School account. If you have an eligible Office 365 subscription, you have access to additional features of the app. Note: Do you use a MacBook or Mac? You will need to install the desktop version of Office. Set up Office for iOS Tap an Office application such as Word to launch it. Sign in with your Microsoft account or Office 365 Business or School account, and then tap Next. Sign in with your account associated with your 21Vianet managed Office 365 subscription. Note: If you do not have a Microsoft account, you can create one for free using any email address you already have. If you sign in with a Microsoft account that is associated with Office 2016 or Office 2019, you may be able to upgrade to Office 365. Follow the purchase instructions for an offer, or select Can be later if you want to use non-subscription apps. Note that by using an Office 365 subscription, you get additional features. Tap Yes or No to help us improve your experience with Office mobile apps. Tap Enable notifications to turn on alerts or later to disable this feature. Tap Create and Edit to start working on your documents. Tip: Once signed in, your account is automatically added to other Office apps on your iOS device. To add another account or cloud service, such as OneDrive or Dropbox, tap Open> Add Location. If you’re using OneNote, tap Settings> Accounts. Choose the cloud service you want to add. The files you have saved appear. The files you see are specific to the application with which you opened them. For example, if you have opened the Word application, you will only see Word documents. To view OneNote notebooks that you have saved in OneDrive or OneDrive for Business, tap + Open Existing. To use additional features in apps, you must sign in with the Microsoft Account or the work or school account associated with your eligible Office 365 subscription. If you have an iPad Pro, you must also have an eligible offer to make any type of change on that specific device.
